Workforce set to double in Shannon at Irish Aircraft Company
An interior Irish aircraft refurbishment and modification specialist has joined a US firm, formerly a native UJet Group Irish aviation company at Shannon Free zone, for the expansion of its operation at Free zone of Shannon and establishing as European Hub the U.S Company has acquired STS Component Solutions.
The results of this merger in coming next two years at Shannon business operation promises 28 Jobs.
STS component Solutions is a part of STS Aviation Group, at present it offers engineering services, original manufacturer distribution equipment, material management and management of supply chain solutions in Florida to aerospace industry.
In order to increasing the global customer now this company will offer robust base interior Aircraft modification and refurbishment including services like aircraft seats, full cabin reconfiguration and support services from STS UJet.
At the free Zone Shannon the STS UJet will be part of the increasing cluster of aviation 60 companies and also employ more than 2600 people. Company has achieved requirements of property from Shannon Group of company which is a parent company of Shannon Commercial Properties and manages one of the highest portfolio properties in Ireland including Free Zone at Shannon with about 7,500 employments.
Making the announcement, President at STS UJet, Mark Robertson said, “We are delighted to be expanding our operation to Shannon Free Zone. Our new facilities provide us with the space to grow and expand into the future. Within two years we expect to more than double our workforce to 50 people, which currently stands at 22 people.”
